Ready to confess?
i wish roleplayers who aren’t extremely popular would get some credit. there are many wonderful roleplayers that i see out there that don’t get the credit they deserve, i feel. it’s upsetting, and i’m sure it impacts a person and how they feel roleplaying their character.
i sometimes browse through this roleplay confession blog, wondering if i should submit this or something similar, because i’ll admit to feeling insecure about my own characters, myself, sometimes. it’s a bit upsetting when to see certain urls mentioned, and it’s almost like they’re the only ones that deserve to get the attention.
i know plenty of roleplayers who don’t have millions of followers, yet they’re ten times more quality than the ones who have 500+ followers. i really wish that those others would get the credit, even more, considering how beautiful some of them write and appear as whoever they are. it would be nice to see people not making it a competition of followers, since it sometimes feels and seems that way. i dislike it like this, and it’s almost like a hostile environment.
but, really. my main point is that there are a lot of roleplayers out there, and many of them are quality. it just hurts to see them not getting any credit or compliments for how amazing they are. it’d be lovely to see them focused on, for once, instead of the ones who have been around the longest and are the most “popular”. because, really, some of them are just beautiful.
